Newly refurbished, Noel Cottage makes an ideal base from which to explore the myriad delights of the Cotswolds. This is glorious walking country – the Cotswold Way starts in the village and local walks include one to Dovers Hill (N.T.), a famous beauty spot. Hidcote Gardens (N.T.) and Broadway's antique shops and golf course are just 3 miles distant, and Stow on the Wold, Batsford Arboretum at Moreton-in-Marsh and Cheltenham's racecourse, galleries and shops are a short drive.

Noel Cottage is a delight - in a lovely position in the centre of Chipping Campden - very well appointed cottage and a joy to stay in - this is our second visit and one of many we plan for the future.

A lovely cottage, clean, comfortable and well equipped, in an excellent central location - just a few yards from the beautiful town of Chipping Campden and just a short walk to open countryside. Interesting places to visit and super places for eating with many welcoming well behaved dogs which is just what we wanted. It was perfect - particularly as we were able to take our little dog with us.

Our holiday cottages in Gloucestershire are ideally located for exploring the famous Cotswolds and Gloucestershire is also blessed with the Forest of Dean, one of our ancient woodlands. But there is much more to see in this county that is so rich in history.
The city of Gloucester, for example, is where William the Conqueror ordered the creation of the Domesday Book and the magnificent cathedral here has many connections with the Norman kings of England. With our Gloucestershire cottage holidays, you’re just a short drive away. Make sure Berkeley Castle is also on your itinerary. This 12th century castle has been owned by the Berkeley family since its foundation and is now a fine stately home, packed with art treasures, tapestries, silver, porcelain and furniture.
Then there’s elegant, genteel Cheltenham, with its grand terraces, much frequented by the lords and ladies of Georgian times and now home to some very smart shops. Or step back in time to Tewkesbury, where timbered buildings sit crowded on the banks of the rivers Avon and Severn. And don’t miss bohemian Stroud, where you’ll find a great selection of cafés and pubs.
